We want you to feel that you can honour your loved ones without fear of cost.

So unlike newspapers, we charge you almost nothing for a notice that has the sort of information that is the usual notice in a newspaper or on a headstone. In fact it's just one British pound.

At The Chief Officers' Network, notices for business people will appear in an alphabetical list sorted by surname, and clicking on a name will bring visitors to a page with just your notice on.

There are some options for which we make a small additional charge:

Photos

You might like to add a photograph. We will need to store that photo for as long as we provide the service. That means that we pay for the storage and we pay to deliver it to every visitor that clicks on the page with your notice. Both storage and delivery incur a charge for us, and we have no idea what those charges will be in the future.

So we have to ask you to pay a small amount for the insertion of a photograph - but at just GBP5 for the basic listing plus one photo, it's not a lot.

Memorial Service Announcement

This, too, means additional work, storage and delivery cost for us so, again, we ask you for the very small sum of GBP5 for the basic listing, plus one announcement

Obituary

Obituaries can be very long but we don't want to confuse you by asking for so much for a column inch or per column centimetre, or a different rate for display. That's far too complicated when you have better things to do than try to work out a complicated formula - or, worse, phone a sales person who earns commission by increasing the number of lines or the amount of space you take.

So we simply charge a flat rate of GBP15 for a basic listing plus one obituary, long or short. Please remember that pictures are extra.

In memoriam

We will only provide one free notice per deceased, and we prefer that to be from a spouse, child or other close relative or close family friend.

For annual remembrances, or for friends and colleagues who wish to add their name to a notice, there is a charge of GBP5.00.

Taxes and Access

If UK VAT applies, that is added to the amount as the EU regards advertising as a taxable supply.
